In Lancaster, Pennsylvania, A Frame of Mind distributed free art kits to kids. The nonprofit, known for helping young people heal through art, hopes that these kits will aid children during the coronavirus crisis.
With kids at home and out of school, parents are running out of ideas on how to keep their little ones entertained. On Wednesday, May 13, A Frame of Mind founder, Lyndsay Rose hosted a drive-thru giveaway that put paint, brushes clay and other art supplies in the hands of children. Rose hopes that these free art kits will help children get creative and keep their minds positive.
A Frame of Mind is a nonprofit organization that uses art as a tool to help people suffering from anxiety, depression and stress. Believers in the notion that art is a positive source of healing, A Frame of Mind hopes to make a positive impact in the Lancaster community — and beyond!
